Boy's Lacrosse Coaching Staff | Head Coach | Brian Samson |  | Brian Samson is only the fourth Varsity lacrosse coach returned for his ninth season at
the helm as the Pioneer’s Head Coach. Coach Samson has led the Pioneers to their most successful consecutive seasons
in over ten years. Brian is a guidance counselor at the High School, which makes it easy to keep tabs on his players. Coach
is a local guy who was himself a stand out defensive player at near by Radnor High School. Brian played his college career
at nationally ranked Georgetown University where he had the opportunity to be a major contributor and stand out on defense.
He has great experience having played in national championship games. Coach Samson in his first four years has taken
Conestoga to the State Play off quarter finals three times. He has coached and developed, one All American, several
All State, many All Central League, and all Main line players. Coach has helped with the recruiting of many of his player
to some of the best lacrosse schools in the nation. He has re-established Conestoga as a school that can not be over looked
when recruiting talented and knowledgeable lacrosse players. Many of his players are now on the rosters of several top tier
lacrosse schools in the country. | Asst Varsity Coach | Craig Gratton |  | Coach Grafton is a 3rd year teacher and assistant coach at Conestoga. He served as
an assistant coach at Framingham High School for 3 years. Coach was a stand out defenseman at Harriton High School (1995)
and later at Dennison University (2001). | Asst Varsity
Coach | Brodie Bush |  | Coach Bush comes to us this season with an extensive lacrosse resume. Most players will remember
him as their eight grade lacrosse coach at TE Middle School. Before TE, Coach Bush has spent time coaching at both the
collegiate (Rutgers, Williams & Immaculata) and high school varsity level (Marple Newtown & Downingtown).
His playing record is even more impressive: Drafted by both the NLL and MLL, Captain and MVP of Rutgers University Men’s
Team, Gold Medal Winner with USA U 19 Men’s Lacrosse team, High School All Central League, All State and All American
for Penncrest. | | | | JV Head Coach A | Greg Hein | 
| Greg is returning for his 2nd year as the JV defense coach. Greg played for Lower Merion.
He has coached for both Lower Merion and Narple Newtwon. | JV Asst Coach | John Fiori | | John Fiori currently is attending Penn State University. He is also a former Conestoga
High School, All State, All EPSLA, All Central League and All Main Line attackman. He captained the 2006 Team that coached by Brian Samson, won the Central League Championship for the first time in 16 years. | JV
Asst Coach | Adam Devlin |  | Adam Devlin is a West Chester University graduate and former high school lacrosse player & captain
at Central Bucks East. Coach Devlin currently works at Devon Elementary School. | | | | JV B Head Coach | Mike
Obrien |  | Mike O'Brien is a, Class of 2004, Conestoga lacrosse player, and a 2008 Penn State
graduate. He currently works as a member of the TEMS Educational Support staff. We are fortunate to have Mike coach the
JVB Team before he attends Law school in the fall of 2009. | JV B Head Coach | Peter Mancuso |  | Peter Mancuso is a Radnor, Class of 2006, and former face-off midfielder standout.
Peter currently attends West Chester University and works as a Personal Trainer at the Philadelphia Sports Club. | Head Trainer | Jessia McCloskey |  | Jess is a graduate of West Chester University. She is back for her 6th year with
the team. Jess is the master at keeping our guys in 1 piece through out the entire season. She the BEST! | PRIOR HEAD COACHES John Verno - 1998-2001
Coach Verno’s win loss record was 29 W - 44 L In a tough 4-year span Coach Verno had several
games, which were 1-point losses. (4 All State Players, 11 All Central League players, 5 All Mainline players) Dave Traynor- 1985-1997. Dave’s win loss record is an impressive
142 W 74 L (An incredible 7 All Americans, 18 All State players, 31 All Central League players and 11 All Mainline
players.) Dave helped place several Conestoga lax players at major Division I, II, & III programs across America worth
hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships. Several of those players went on to become College All Americans and play
Pro Lacrosse. He was responsible for Conestoga’s credibility as a premier lacrosse program and it’s producing
of well-trained, knowledgeable college level athletes. Don Smedley-1972-1984 Is
responsible for starting a club program in 1972. Conestoga joined the Central League under Coach Smedley in 1978. Coach Smedley’s
overall record was 41 W - 76 L. (13 All Central League, 2 All Mainline players) |
